Mykonos, Delos Island, Lunch, walking tour in Mykonos & Free time for shopping (with lunch)

Depart from the port of Mykonos and be taken to the ancient harbour of DELOS by local boat. Follow you guide as commence your ½ hour guided walking tour, marvelling at the Agora and further on, the Sacred Way, which leads you to the Temple of Apollo. Continue on to view the remains of a Hellenistic Quarter with its harbours, waterhouses, luxurious villas such as the House of Cleopatra, the House of the Dolphin, the House of the Mask and the House of Dionyssos, as well as the remains of other notable quarters. Make note of their architecture and mosaic floors, which have amazingly survived over 2,500 years. End your walking tour by viewing the spectacular Avenue of Lions, where five Naxian marble beasts replicas from the 8^th Century BC crouch, vigilant guardians of the Sacred Lake, which stands today dry. Follow your guide to embark on the tour boat. You will be taken back to the port of Mykonos again by local boat to have lunch and relax in selected restaurant in the fascinating town of Mykonos.

After lunch a walking tour in the town of Mykonos will take you to the alleys of this charming spot of Greece. Starting the walking tour from Yachting Club you will follow the guide through the Old Town to the small Venice, and Windmills. On this way see the cathedral Paraportiani, the typical houses and numerous chapels. Discover the beauties of the Old Town walking along the narrow streets and alleys seeing the daily life as well as the town’s interesting architecture. Enjoy free time (2hrs)** for shopping before meeting the guide again. Visit the Folklore Museum (near Paraportiani)  to see its interesting exhibits and discover the past of this tourist island. End up the walking tour at Manto square and embark your bus for the return transfer to the ship.
