Visit the highlights of Samos island

Your tour will depart from the picturesque port of Pythagorion-ancient Samos. A pleasant drive along the lush green coastline will bring you to the village of Kokkari. A walk through the cobbled streets of this small picturesque fisherman’s village, will allow you to admire its red-brown tiled roofed houses.

     Drive through the famous sandy beaches of Tsamadou and Lemonakiato the Valley of Nightingales. Here in a local tavern, try the famous Samos wine, which is sweet and dry. The wine will be accompanied with some “meze” a variety of cheeses, salami, olives and tomato. Enjoy a short stroll through the forest after the refreshments.

     Next, head in the direction of Samos Town for a panoramic drive before turning inland for a picturesque drive through the hills before returning to Pythagorion. Here in this seafront village lies the Castle of Logothetis, a revolutionary leader that constructed this castle according to his own plans. You may walk through the castle back to the port at a leisurely pace.
