Depart from Suez port for a tour that will lead in the heart of desert. After your disembarkation, you will be headed to Cairo, the metropolis of Egypt , and make the first stop at the Giza plateau. The spot offers exquisite view to the great pyramids of Giza. It is a great opportunity of taking photos.  Afterwards, you will visit the pyramids of Kephren and have free time to explore the site. Pyramids were used during antiquity as tombs for the ancients Kings who were mummified to earn the internal life. Your drive continues to the statue of Sphinx, a monolithic monument of half man half lion, the most visited venue in Africa.

After your sightseeing , the driving goes on through Sakkara desert until you will arrive to a designated point in order to get on four wheeled jeeps.  The drivers will take you to a camel caravan that is waiting and the camels will lead you in slow pace through Sakkara. Camels are very sturdy and durable animals that can drive for days without water. The ride over a camel will offer the feeling of a Bedouin and will be remembered as a life-time experience. 

You will stop at Sakkara Country club to enjoy a rich meal and have some rest. Later, you will proceed by bus to Memphis, the oldest sacred city of Egypt, where a visit to the Step pyramid of Zoser is coming up next. Step pyramids are named after their rectangular design and they were the first type of pyramids, known also as mastabas.

After the sightseeing though desert , you will return to Cairo for a visit at Papyrus institute and will be introduced to the art of producing paper our of reed. Free time for shopping original papyrus objects and return to the ship.
