This tour departs from Alexandria port heading to the greatest city of the continent, Cairo, and makes the first stop at the Giza plateau where the participants will be introduced to the miracles of the ancient World. Time will be given for photo shooting the three great pyramids. The next stop is outside of Chephren’s Pyramid, where the group members will have free time to visit the site on their own. You will also have time to explore the Great Sphinx, the landmark of Egypt , which ,according the ancient myth, is guarding the path and stops the ones who cannot solve its enigma.

Your tour will be continued over the river Nile by traditional sailing boats, Feluccas. You will admire the river’s banks and enjoy a rich lunch on board. The next stop will be at the Ibn Touloun Mosque, one the most important mosques located in Cairo. You will visit the interior of the building and see the famous collection of gypsum ornaments and engravings. The mosque is also known for its minaret which forms a helical outer staircase.

As the day goes on, you will be guided at the Gayer Anderson Museum, known for being one of the best preserved examples of 17th century domestic architecture left in Cairo and also featuring the Gayer-Anderson's vast collection of domestic objects.

After your sightseeing, you can go shopping at the medieval Khan El Khalili Bazaar, full of colours and buzzing people where you can buy exotic spices  , handmade crafts , leather goods and special pieces of Egyptian culture or oriental souvenirs for your loved ones.

After shopping, you will return to the capital, Cairo and there you will be guided at the Papyrus Institute. Papyrus was is a thick material produced from the papyrus plant ,abundant in the Nile Delta, and it was used instead of paper . Short time for shopping souvenirs and return to ship.
