The tour departs from Alexandria port and after a drive of 3 hours you will arrive at Cairo, the metropolis of Africa. Your first stop in Cairo is scheduled to the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. The Mosque is made of pure alabaster and is considered a fine example of Islamic architecture of the 19th century. The interior of the Mosque is filled with cold plated decorative scripts. The group will make a stop on the top of the hill to see the view of Old Cairo.

The next move is to embark for a great cruise over the river Nile and also enjoy a delicious lunch on board while admiring a folklore dance show with belly dancers and oriental music.

Your next stop is to the Giza Necropolis where you can view the Pyramids of Giza and take photos from a high spot offering panoramic views.  You will have the opportunity to visit the pyramids of Kephren and the valley of the Sphinx , where you can admire a miracle of the ancient Egypt world, a mysterious guard , half man -half lion, dominating the passage over the centuries.

The final stop is at Papyrus Institute, where you can discover the secrets of the papyrus’ craftsmen. A few time for shopping souvenirs will be granted before the departure for the ship.
