Honey Farm visit in Olympia with honey tasting and free time in the modern village
Leave Katakolon port back and drive to Klio’s Honey Farm. Drive through the picturesque countryside to Olympia village and enter into the world of the local Honey Farm. Enjoy a welcome treat by the friendly staff of the farm and taste a local made quince spoon sweet. After this warm welcome, start your tour of the farm with a presentation. Follow your local host to the introduction of honey production and continue on for a visit to the small farm’s museum as well as a honey tasting (traditional greek “dipla” drizzled with honey). Complete this experience with free time on the farm for optional shopping of local products. Your tour continues to the modern village of Olympia, where you will enjoy 1 hour approx. of free time for exploration. After this, return to Katakolon port and your cruise ship.
